The effect of extraction methods on the yields, chemical composition and antifungal activity of sawdust Cedrus atlantica Manetti essential oils

The aim of this work is to determine the effect extraction method on yield, chemical composition, and antifungal activity cedarwood essential oils (EOs) from sawdust Moroccan Cedrus atlantica (C. atlantica). EOs were extracted by different methods: hydrodistillation, soxhlet, maceration, ultrasound. composition was determined using gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. yields 5.60%, 11.68%, 4.82% 9.33% for maceration ultrasound, respectively.
